چکیده

In the process of reviewing and ranking projects by a group of reviewers, each reviewer is assumed to review a partial list of projects, up to k projects. Each individual reviewer then ranks and compares all pairs of k projects. The k-allocation problem is to determine the allocation of up to k projects to each reviewer within the expertise set of the reviewer so that the resulting union of reviewed projects has certain desirable properties. One property of the k-allocation is to have all pairs of projects compared by at least one reviewer. This we call the k-complete

Using NSGA II Algorithm for a Three Objectives Redundancy Allocation Problem with k-out-of-n Sub-Systems

in the new production systems, finding a way to improving the product and system reliability in design is a very important. The reliability of the products and systems may improve using different methods. One of this methods is redundancy allocation problem. In this problem by adding redundant component to sub-systems under some constraints, the reliability improved. In this paper we worked on ...

A Clustering Based Location-allocation Problem Considering Transportation Costs and Statistical Properties (RESEARCH NOTE)

Cluster analysis is a useful technique in multivariate statistical analysis. Different types of hierarchical cluster analysis and K-means have been used for data analysis in previous studies. However, the K-means algorithm can be improved using some metaheuristics algorithms. In this study, we propose simulated annealing based algorithm for K-means in the clustering analysis which we refer it a...

Redundancy allocation problem for k-out-of-n systems with a choice of redundancy strategies

To increase the reliability of a specific system, using redundant components is a common method which is called redundancy allocation problem (RAP). Some of the RAP studies have focused on k-out-of-n systems. However, all of these studies assumed predetermined active or standby strategies for each subsystem. In this paper, for the first time, we propose a k-out-of-<em...

Solving Redundancy Allocation Problem with Repairable Components Using Genetic Algorithm and Simulation Method

Reliability optimization problem has a wide application in engineering area. One of the most important problems in reliability is redundancy allocation problem (RAP). In this research, we worked on a RAP with repairable components and k-out-of-n sub-systems structure. The objective function was to maximize system reliability under cost and weight constraints. The aim was determining optimal com...

Developing a New Bi-Objective Functions Model for a Hierarchical Location-Allocation Problem Using the Queuing Theory and Mathematical Programming

In this research, a hierarchical location-allocation problem is modeled in a queue framework. The queue model is considered as M/M/1/k, in which system capacity is finite, equals to k. This is the main contribution of the current research. Customer's enters to the system in order to find the service according to a Poisson. In this problem, the hierarchical location-allocation model is considere...

Maximal covering location-allocation problem with M/M/k queuing system and side constraints

We consider the maximal covering location-allocation problem with multiple servers. The objective is to maximize the population covered, subject to constraints on the number of service centers, total number of servers in all centers, and the average waiting time at each center. Each center operates as an M/M/k queuing system with variable number of servers. The total costs of establishing cen...
